Mono Printing
Firstly I gathered my equipment which was a roller, a board and some printing ink. Then I added some ink onto the bottom of the board and rolled the ink on the board, starting from the top. I rolled the ink so that it was as flat as possible on the board. I then laid paper on top of the ink and laid the image (I was going to draw over) on top. With a 4B pencil, I carefully drew over the images, going over each line and shape. After I drew the image, I lifted the image and the paper underneath and there appeared the image I drew, but in black ink. I then rolled out the ink again on the board and repeated this process for the other images I had.

Screen Printing
I printed off the computer my typography which was my last name Seehra. I then stuck this on a another piece of paper and cut out the letters using a Stanley knife. Once I had cut out the letters, I gathered the equipment I needed for the screen printing. The equipment I used during screen were a silk screen, a squeegee, textile median and acrylic paint. I started of but putting down a layer of newspaper down on the table, then the paper I was printing on, on top and my lettering on top of that. I then laid the silk screen on top and in a plate, I mixed blue acrylic paint and some textile median. After I mixed the paint, I applied some paint just above the lettering and then by using a squeegee, I pressed and dragged the painted all the way down the silk screen so the paint went through the silk screen and on to the paper below the lettering, this created a screen printing of my last name (Seehra) on top the paper below in the blue acrylic. I then repeated this process again and again on to different pages.
