HS2 Logo Blue with a yellow outline

What went well  - I successfully created a logo on Adobe Illustrator using the pen tool.  The logo was done accurately and had a great outcome. another thing that went well was how the logo looked after I added an outline to it and changed the colour of the outline and letters. The outcome was great as my logo design looked eye catching and interesting.

Even better if - if I used a more complex technique on the logo in order to make it look better and more interesting, however the design still looked great.

The effects that I used was only creating a outline on the letters and making them a different colour to the letters. I firstly used a pen tool to cut out the letters from the template and then copied and pasted it on a new document. Then I played around with the colours and finally decided to go with a blue. After this I decided to create and outline and created a simple thick outline and changed it to the colour yellow. I did this as I fought the yellow will bounce of the blue and look  more appealing.

HS2 Logo - Red and Black 3D

What went well - I created a logo that had a 3D effect. I am proud of this as it looked very interesting and unique. It had a successful outcome and showed real good understanding of how to use the programme I used to, create these logos on which was Adobe Illustrator

Even better if - if I maybe did more than just the 3D effect, like add another effect over the 3D effect.

The effect I used was done well and was a real success, as the logo after having the effect looked very attractive and appealing to viewers. It looked very unique and powerful, like something out of a comic book or something. I firstly used a pen tool to cut out the letters from the template and then copied and pasted it on a new document. Then I played around with the colours and finally decided to go with a colour red and it was quite bold. Then I looked at the drop down menu and saw a 3D tab and clicked that, that took me to a page where I could choose how I wanted the 3D to look. once I chose this, I coloured the 3D effect in to a black and this made it look bold and strong. The red and black fitted so well with each and had great chemistry.

HS2 Logo - Grey gradient with a black outline

What went well - I successfully created a logo using a more complex and harder technique to do. I used a gradient tool which is more complex than doing a 3D and outline effect. The result of this was great as the logo looked very unique in a good way and looked very interesting.

Even better if - if I used a different colour for the gradient as the grey looks good but a bit plain and another colour would of been better, maybe a blue fading into a white gradient or even a yellow fading into a black gradient.

The effect I used was called the gradient tool and what the gradient tool did was basically fade one colour into another colour. I used the gradient tool as I faded a white colour in to a grey colour. This gave my logo a supernatural feel and looked as it looked a bit like the colours of the moon. This effect made  my logo look very unique and interesting. I firstly used a pen tool to cut out the letters from the template and then copied and pasted it on a new document. Then I played around with the colours and finally decided to go with a colour grey. I then decided to use the gradient tool to make my logo looked appealing and exciting. I also created a outline of the logo after I used the gradient tool. This made my logo of a high standard and more complex as I combined to techniques together on a logo.

HS2 Logo - Green

What went well - I again successfully created a logo with an very unusual effect which looked very interesting and very different from the rest. This effect/technique was quite complex and hard but the result of this was great and worth doing as it looked exciting and quite funky.

Even better if - if I maybe used another technique of the logo than just one technique. combining techniques would of made my logo more complex but better.

The effect I used, created a very funky effect for my logo. When I used this technique the shapes of the letters completely changed, the letters shapes became irregular and quite weird but in a good way. I firstly used a pen tool to cut out the letters from the template and then copied and pasted it on a new document. Then I played around with the colours and finally decided to go with a colour green and then I used this effect to make the logo look a lot different from the other I did.

HS2 Logo - Yellow with a blue outline

What went well  -  I successfully created a logo on Adobe Illustrator using the pen tool.  The shapes/letters were done well and had a great outcome. another thing that went well was how the logo looked after I added an outline to it and changed the colour of the outline and letters. The outcome was great as my logo design looked appealing to viewers

Even better if - If I have of used another technique that I haven't done before or maybe use different colours as this design was the same s my fist but with the colours reversed. the letters were done in yellow and the outline was blue.

The effects that I used was only creating a outline on the letters and making them a different colour to the letters. I firstly used a pen tool to cut out the letters from the template and then copied and pasted it on a new document. Then I played around with the colours and finally decided to go with a bright yellow. After this I decided to create and outline and created a simple thick outline and changed it to the colour blue. I did this as I fought the blue will rebound of the yellow and look  more appealing and exciting.

HSS Logo - Black H and green S's

What went well  - I successfully created a logo on Adobe Illustrator using the pen tool.  The logo was done accurately and had a great outcome. another thing that went well was how the logo looked after I changed the colour of the S's. The outcome was great as my logo design looked eye catching and interesting, it had a unique feel and looked quite strong and gothic.

Even better if - if I used a more complex technique on the logo in order to make it look better and more interesting, however the design still looked great.

I didn't really use any effects on my logo as all I did was change the colour of the S's.  I firstly used a pen tool to cut out the letters from the template and then copied and pasted it on a new document. Then I played around with the colours and finally decided to go with an all black. After this I decided to change the colour of the S's and make them different to the H, this made my logo have to strong view points.

 HSS Logo  - Arc

What went well  - I again created a logo on Adobe Illustrator using the pen tool.  The logo looked very interesting as it was in a completed different shape. It was in the shape of an Arc which made it look very unique but in a goo way.

Even better if - if I used a more complex technique on the logo in order to make it look better and more interesting, such as a 3D effect or gradient.

I used the exact same process and steps as for the first logo, but all I did to this one was, change the shape of the logo and make it into an arc. After doing this, it made by logo look great and interesting to look at as it was bold and strong, it had a gothic feel to it.

HSS logo - Green with a black outline

What went well - I created another logo on Adobe Illustrator using the pen tool and the outline technique/effect. The logo it self looked great as it was plain and simple but also very eye catchy and appealing.

Even better if - if I used and more complex and high tech technique on the logo as just adding the outline is very basic even when it still looks.

For this logo I again used then same process and steps as it was a quick way to do to. But for this logo, I didn't use a complex technique, I only used and outline on the logo, however this may sound basic and simple but it looked great and very good. For my fourth logo design, I experimented with the different types of outlines, so for that all I did was change the outline from a basic one to a paint brush outline as it gave the logo a different feel, it made it feel and look like as something from a comic book.

 HSS Logo  - Faded

What went well  - I successfully created a logo on Adobe Illustrator using the pen tool.  The logo was done accurately and had a great outcome. another thing that went well was how the logo looked after I added an effect on the logo. The outcome was great as my logo design looked eye catching and interesting, it had a unique feel to it.

Even better if - if I used a more complex technique on top of the existing technique on the logo in order to make it look better and more interesting, however the design still looked great.

For this logo, I carried out the same procedure, the same processes and steps. I kept the colours the same as the original design but just added a new, unique technique. I added a blur/faded technique to the logo, as I thought of trying something new. The effect I added to the logo made it look like as if it was fading in or out of something, it looked very unique but in a good way as it looked very interesting and eye catchy. For my next logo I did everything the same but just added a spinning effect to the logo which made it look as if its moving rapidly, however this effect used looked great and I will consider to use it in the future.

I firstly used a pen tool to cut out the letters from the template and then copied and pasted it on a new document. Then I played around with the colours and finally decided to go with a colour green. As I had used the 3D tool before, for an another logo, I thought of using it again as I really liked the effect of the 3D and so I used it. I coloured the 3D effect in to a black and this made it look bold and strong. The green  and black fitted so well with each and had great chemistry.

HSS Logo - Plain Black

What went well - I create a very basic and simple logo on Adobe Illustrator using a pen tool. Even though the logo was quite plain and basic and was all black, it still looked quite interesting and eye catchy, which still made it look very effective.

Even better if - if I had of used a more complex and more technical effect on the logo to make it of a higher standard and also to make it look more appealing to the client.

I didn't use an effect on this logo as all I did was use a pen tool to cut out the shapes and colour them in black. However there was a reason for doing this which was that, I did research on the Hugo Boss logo and wanted to created something like that but using my initials, so that's why I did this logo ad kept it simple. It came of really well and looked great. For my next logo, I used the same processes but I used the faded effect on the logo as I really liked how it come out on the last logo. After doing this,  the logo still looked great and eye catchy, due to the faded effect.

For this logo, I again used the same process to create the logo but I used a different technique on the logo. For this logo I firstly added a green outline to the logo, this made it stand out and almost glow. it gave the logo a different feel and made it look better than just a plain logo without a outline. Then I added another effect on top of this which was the arc effect. This made my logo look very unique and interesting. it looked great and appealing. For my last logo, I used the same logo but again a different effect. On this logo, I used an effect called warp which transformed my logo but deforming it in some way. The effect made my logo look fantastic and exciting.
